Magaya bribes Yadah FC out of relegation!

Harare | Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries leader and founder has once again come under fire after revelations that he bribed his team out of relegation.

According to reports by Footzim, Dynamos received US$15000 from Yadah FC to fix their match in favor of the latter, who needed the win to survive relegation last Saturday.

The battle for survival went to the wire over the weekend, with ZPC Kariba, Yadah, Sheasham, Black Rhinos, and Triangle battling to stay afloat.

Going into the last match day, three of those five teams would inevitably sink to join the already relegated Cranborne Bullets, while two would remain with the big boys.

That meant all those five needed to win their games with Yadah and ZPC Kariba’s wins enough to secure them slots in the league next year while the other three needed to win their own games and also hope fair play would prevail in other matches involving their relegation rivals.

While all the other games went well, eyebrows were raised in the game between Yadah and Dynamos at the National Sports Stadium.

Yadah won the match 2-1, but not before stakeholders questioned the manner in which everything unfolded on the field of play, where some Dynamos players like Emmanuel Jalai and Tendai Magwaza were played out of position.

Yadah scored an early goal and were 2-0 up with less than 30 minutes to go while the Dynamos players’ body language left a lot to be desired.

As fate would have it, Yadah won and secured survival, while Black Rhinos, who had labored to their own victory over Simba Bhora, dropped to the first division along with Sheasham and Triangle.

However, it has emerged that money might have exchanged hands after reports emerged that US$15000 was handed to Dynamos through a member of the DeMbare executive.

A Yadah boss named Mango is said to have given the money to a Dynamos boss called Gwasira.
A Dynamos boss called Maunganidze is said to have been involved.

He is said to have been in Rwanda for Warriors matches against Rwanda and Nigeria and his trip is said to have been paid for by Yadah!

A Dynamos manager called Mhene is said to have been involved, and he is the one who handed some money to some Dynamos players to deliberately underperform.

Some Dynamos players who were approached by a Dynamos manager called Mhene refused to accept the bribe money and they were either put on the bench or subbed off in the match.

One of the Dynamos executive members called Chawonza is said to have been deliberately avoided in all this and he is said to have been surprised with what he saw on Saturday as the team failed to knit passes the way they had done in the second half of the season.

A Dynamos owner (or claimant as others see it) called Marriot is said to be fuming about the traitor behavior by his team.

A Dynamos coach called Mangombe who was coaching Yadah last year is said to have been heavily involved and he was shouted at by Dynamos fans who were not happy with the team’s performance.

Some of the fans are said to have shouted that they saw him with some Yadah people a day before the match.

Mangombe is said to have failed the test and Marriot is reportedly against his engagement on a full time basis.

Should PSL open an inquiry into what really transpired?
