Citizens Coalition for Change has said that its party’s president Nelson Chamisa’s face will save and protect the newly formed party
At a media briefing in the capital, today “party” spokesperson Fadzai Mahere declared the face as the guardian angel
“We are going to use a CCC symbol on the ballot and the symbol will have president Chamisa’s face in it, this is so important because we are dealing with rogue agents who are consistent on shenanigans”
“We are not building a cult on an individual but we just don’t want confusion around the issue, we don’t want a situation where unnamed culprits will come and say we are the owners of yellow,” she said
The yellow party without a constitution has assured its members that if there will need to change the logo they will
“This is just for the purposes of 2023 if there be any changes symbol we will notify you, this is just a test drive and make sure that everything is in place for 2023 which is the main course,” said Mahere.
The five-day old party has managed to field 143 candidates in upcoming by-elections scheduled for March 26 2022
The structureless party is yet to formally launch on the unannounced date and reveal who is who besides the named leader
