Nyabira Police In Madzibaba Ishamel’s Cover Up Scandal….Keeps Postmortem Results Under The Carpet For 2 Years!

A professor from the University of Zimbabwe, whose demise occurred at Madzibaba Ishmael’s shrine under mysterious circumstances approximately two years ago, was revealed through postmortem results to have been poisoned while at the shrine.

These results, which were only recently provided to the family on Monday, had been inexplicably held at Nyabira Police Station for the past couple of years.

The family of Professor Mugwati is now endeavoring to reclaim his possessions, including 30 cattle, two vehicles (a Honda Fit and a grinding mill), which they assert belonged to him but vanished following his death. Allegedly, numerous individuals, including the late professor, have been interred without proper authorization at the Lily Farm compound in Nyabira.

According to reports, the family attempted to report suspicions of foul play against Madzibaba Ishmael to the police in Nyabira shortly after Muwati’s death, but their efforts were thwarted. Subsequently, the family took the initiative to exhume Muwati’s body and reinter him at his rural home in Mhondoro-Ngezi.

The spokesperson for the Muwati family, Martin Muwati, conveyed their determination to retrieve the professor’s belongings from the compound. He also indicated that Madzibaba Ishmael had purportedly been confiscating valuable assets from his followers, including the late professor, under coercive circumstances.

Additionally, Martin disclosed that Muwati’s personal effects, such as bank cards, remained unrecovered. Muwati was discovered deceased on June 6, 2022, under obscure circumstances and hastily buried at Lily Farm before subsequent demands from relatives necessitated the exhumation of his remains.
