In a statement released by the acting town clerk Engineer Phakamile Moyo, the city fathers said “The City of Harare would like to advise our valued residents and stakeholders that there shall be a planned shutdown of a pump station at Morton Jeffrays Waterworks”

The City Council will also be attending to two lines serving Marimba and Lochinvar Reservoirs.

Areas that are going to be affected by the shutdown include “Mufakose, Kuwadzana, Glen View, Glen Norah, parts of Willowvale, Budiriro, and other surrounding suburbs.”

Residents are encouraged to use water wisely during this period,  however, suburbs mentioned by the city council are already affected by poor water supply.
