THE government of Mali has invited Ambassador Edd Branson to their country to seal a mining investment deal that is under discussion, Express Mail Zim can report.

In a corrospondence authored by the country’s Minister of Mines Amadou Keita this week, the Malian government welcomed Branson’s intention to invest in the country’s mining sector and further cement cordial relatoonship between the two countries.

“I would like to thank you for your interest in Mali and its mining sector and welcome your intention to seize investment opportunities in our country.

“Noting your projections, I would like to invite you to visit Mali so that we can lay the foundations for a fruitful partnership that respects our common interests,” wrote Keita.

Lately, Mali has shown a consistent political will to develop the mining sector, and has made it a priority in its development plan. .

Added Keita:

“It is in this context of our development plan that I invite the delegation, that includes the Chairman of the AFRIUSA Business Initiative, Ambassador Dr. Edd Branson, and Kemo Bojan to pursue discussions on investment projects that will benefit Mali and its people.”

Meanwhile, both Mali and Zimbabwe share a common cultural aspect, marked by their stone architecture. The kingdoms also have sophisticated political systems and agricultural, mining, and craftmanship practices that makes Branson’s investiment proposal key.
