President Mnangagwa shockingly appointed the renowned banker and communications expert perm sec for War Vets ministry

Harare- War veterans ministry permanent secretary and renowned banker Clive Mphambela has died.

He was involved in an accident Friday and he succumbed to injuries sustained leading to his death.

Mphambela is the former Director of Communications in the Ministry of Finance and was one of Mtuli Ncube’s most trusted lieutenant before President Mnangagwa moved him to the War Vets ministry.

According to his colleague and former workmate veteran journalist and Daily News deputy editor Constatine Chimakure, Mphambela was also a kareka par-excellence and a chess master.
