Clara Muroiwa Loses Over US$10k In A Botched Car Deal

Attracted by the deal, Clara paid US$10,400 in total (duty included), but the car was never delivered as promised.

Clara was disappointed and realised she had been duped. She made the decision to report the incident to the authorities in an attempt to hold the fraudulent transaction accountable.

In response to Clara’s report, the authorities detained Pedzisai on Monday. He is scheduled to appear in court today to answer to fraud-related accusations.

Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, a spokesman for the Harare provincial police, confirmed the arrest and said the suspect was an automobile dealer. According to Insp. Chakanza, “the suspect is expected to appear in court soon.”
