HARARE-No joy for MDC Alliance activist Makomborero Haruzivishe as he will not be joining his family for new year’s eve
Haruzivishe was granted ZWL$10 000 bail this morning by the High Court on charges of staging an illegal demonstration in the Harare CBD sometime last year
His Lawyer Simon Chabuka dampened peoples happy mood as the Zimbabwean Twitter was happy that the activist will be leaving his prison cell today
“Makomborero will not be released today as he has a pending Kidnapping case,” he said
Haruzivishe was also represented by Lovemore Madhuku, after his initial bail was revoked by a Harare Magistrate after failing to avail himself on several occasions.
Makomborero has been behind bars for more than 10 months now
