
Hwange Central Residents partner ZELA

Hwange Central Constituency last week partnered with the Zimbabwe Environmental Lawyers (ZELA) in promoting environmentally sustainable mining.
The partnership comes with a package of empowering residents of the Constituency of Hwange Central, residents will be involved in the day-to-day runnings of the mining and development issues.
In a press release, released by the Hwange Central Constituency MP, Hon Daniel Molokela the initiative aims to create a pool of champion MPs who will help to enhance the advocacy strategy for ZELA, especially from the parliamentarian perspective.
A two-day consultation and workshop meeting was hosted at Hwange Safari Lodge and was attended by, the office of Hwange Central Constituency MP, several councilors from different wards, residents trust, and other private and public organizations from across the country.
